Schools & Special Needs Groups

 

We offer a range of activity sessions during the week for school and special needs groups, as well as the opportunity to hire the facilities for your own private events. Options include:

Schools & Special Needs Prices at Larkfield Leisure Centre

Special Needs Club at Larkfield Leisure Centre

Our Saturday Special Needs Club offers two hours of entertaining sporting activities to customers with special learning needs or disabilities and their carers. Come along and join in the fun, make new friends and learn new skills. Activities include swimming, short tennis, trampolining, table tennis and badminton. The Club meets 5pm to 7pm on the first and third Saturday of each month - £2.90 per person, carers go free. Find out more about accessibility at the Centre.
 

VIP Swimming Sessions at Tonbridge Swimming Pool

Our VIP Swimming Session for residents with special learning needs and disabilities takes place on the last Sunday of every month. The Teaching Pool with a whole host of water toys is available from 6.30pm to 8pm and the Fitness Pool from 7pm to 8pm. Those 16 years and over can visit the Spa from 6.30pm to 8pm. Standard concession price applies, each paying customer is able to bring their carer free of charge. There is also a £7.00 family rate should the whole family wish to attend. Our facilities are ideal for the disabled with easy access, dedicated changing facilities and hoists to aid access to the Fitness Pools. Before visiting please view details of our Child Admission Policy.

Private Hire

At Larkfield Leisure Centre, the Fitness Pool, Leisure Pool and Larkabout are also available for private hire. We offer a variety of Party packages for grown ups to celebrate special occasions, or simply just to have a fun time. Whether it's a children's birthday party, private function, a club or society event, Larkfield Leisure Centre is a great venue for everyone to enjoy themselves.

Facilities available for hire include Larkabout, Leisure Pool, Fitness Pool, Fitness Pool Splasharound Party with giant inflatable island and water toys, Teaching Pool, Sports Hall, Fitness and Invicta Studios and the Spa with sauna, steam and spa. For details please call 01622 719345.

The pools at Tonbridge Swimming Pool are also available for private hire Whether it's a children's birthday party, private function or a club or society event, Tonbridge Pool is a great venue and available to hire at the weekend (evenings). Facilities include the superb indoor and outdoor pools and Spa with its sauna, steam and aromatherapy room. Please note with all Pool Parties our Child Admission Policy applies.
