Lifeguard Courses
We run NPLQ courses for those aged 16 years and over. This national qualification will enable you to work as a Lifeguard at any public pool and is a requirement for a number of jobs including Centre Manager.
The course comprise of physical training and theoretical classroom work, followed by a practical in-water and out of-water assessment on pool rescue, first aid, CPR and lifesaving skills. Our course dates for 2027 will appear here shortly.
The RLSS NPLQ is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the United Kingdom and Ireland that complies with the industry guidance contained within the HSE publication ‘Managing Health and Safety in Swimming Pools’.
On successful completion of the course you will be fully qualified to work as a Pool Lifeguard – £280.00 Priority Card | £300.00 Casual User.
