Swim bookings will continue until 4 October.  From 4 October customers will not have to book in advance, but just walk-in.

The Outdoor Pool will close on Sunday 3 October.


BOOKING A SWIM 

All customers can register to book activities online. When registering you will be asked to provide personal details including your name and email address. Once submitted, you'll receive an email to set up the final stage of your secure account. Forget your password at any time and you can securely reset it.

Gym & Spa direct debit and annual payers can book 9 days, Priority Card holders 7 days, casual users 2 days.

FAMILY SWIM SESSIONS
Customers can book a Family Swim over the phone or online.  Online is more convenient, but you will pay for individual swims, rather than the family rate. 

Family direct debit and annual members and family Priority Card holders can book for each other providing the memberships are linked and each member has given their permission to do this.

When booking family swimming online you will see a list of booking categories and need to select the required number of spaces from these e.g. 3 juniors or 1 adult / 2 juniors. These will be charged at the individual rate for each user.

If you are a Gym & Spa Member or Priority Card holder you will be able to book in others from your family who are also members/Priority Card holders providing you have their permission to do so. On the bookings page you will see a list of family members that are linked to you and these can be booked into a space using the toggle by each name. All members will be charged at the appropriate individual member rate (this will be zero for dd and annual members). 

To give permission for linked members/Priority Card holders to book on your behalf, please log in through the Book Online page on our website. Click the green 'My account' button at the top of the page and click on 'Linked Members'. Ensure 'Allow linked members to make and manage bookings on your behalf?' is ticked. To meet data protection requirements, it is not possible for U’13s to allow this permission and only the Primary family member will be able to book online for this age group. 

For family booking the following conditions need to be observed:

  • The Child Admission Policy must be followed at all times. Please see the full policy here. Unfortunately, customers will not be able to gain entry if they do not have the appropriate number of supervising adults.  
  • The system will only allow one additional adult non-member and therefore the booking must be made under an adults account if two non-member adults are required under the Child Admission Policy.



TONBRIDGE SWIMMING POOL OPERATIONAL PLAN 

This is the operational plan for Tonbridge Swimming Pool. The programme and pool capacities are reviewed fortnightly.

All pools, the Spa and Cafe are open.  All facilities in the Changing Village are operational and the Barefoot Policy has been reinstated. Hairdryers are available with limited numbers to provide adequate space for customer use around each unit. Aqua exercise classes have restarted, as have Swim School lessons.

    To ensure continued customer and staff safety the following are in place:

    • Hand sanitiser stations around the building.
    • Physical screens at Reception and Café.
    • Customers are required to queue at the building entrance until admitted for their session.
    • Some barriers remain in place to aid customer movement through the building.
    • Customers are requested to wear masks when moving through the building. They can be removed when you reach your activity or are seated.
    • We continue to promote track and trace.

    Swim Sessions

    • We are operating our standard booking and band system. Swim sessions are pool specific i.e. Fitness, Outdoor or Teaching Pool and customers can't move between pools. This is to ensure capacities are adhered to and prevent overcrowding.
    • Fitness Pool lane swimming sessions must be booked in advance. There are 3 x 45-minute early morning sessions from 6.30am – 8.45am.
    • Family Swimming sessions are 90 minutes long and can be booked online from 9am (subject to programme) - read on.
    • A few lane swimming sessions are reserved for walk-in Gym & Spa direct debit and annual members.
    • The Teaching & Toddler Pool offer a mixture of public sessions and 1 to 1 lessons. Public sessions are 90 minutes long and can be booked from 11am weekdays and 7am weekends (subject to programme).
    • Mini Splash Sessions take place in the Teaching Pool on Saturday from 11am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm - find out more.

    Outdoor Pool (closes 3 October 2021)

    • Early morning (3 x 45-minute sessions from 6.45am) and evening lane swimming session are running with 3 lanes available. Sessions are bookable.
    • Public sessions are available to book from 9.15am.
    • Outdoor seating and grass area are available for customer use.
