Slide background

The information below has been prepared to meet the England Golf ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe’ guidance and similar restrictions will exist at courses up and down the country. We reserve the right to remove any individual who is found to be knowingly in breach of the guidance or the spirit of this guidance and will not hesitate to do so.

Finally, please be reassured that we will be carefully monitoring the implementation and impact of these controls and will amend and improve practice for the benefit of all wherever and whenever possible.

Covid Secure

In fulfilling our statutory obligation to provide a safe environment for both staff and customers at Poult Wood Golf Course during the COVID-19 pandemic, tmactive has undertaken a full risk assessment of the facility’s operations.

The risk assessment considered the facilities that were in operation, the activities being undertaken and the people using and working at Poult Wood Golf Course. Once the risks were identified the assessment looked at how they can be controlled in line with guidance offered by the Government, Public Health England, England Golf and the Professional Golfers’ Association.

In demonstration that it is COVID Secure, and following the Government guidance for such, tmactive has published the findings of the risk assessment here on the Poult Wood Golf Course website. These findings detail the actions that have been taken to minimise the risks to both staff and public of COVID-19 and can be viewed here.
