World Mental Health Day 2024
COME TO OUR FREE EVENTS ON WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY!
Mental health affects us in different ways, and this day is about recognising the importance of emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. It’s an opportunity to connect with others, raise awareness, and recognise signs of mental health challenges in ourselves and others. This year’s focus is on Workplace Wellness. Read some mindfulness insights from staff at tmactive.
Taking care of our physical health improves mental wellbeing too. Exercise releases “feel good” hormones that reduce stress, boost mood, and improve sleep. Activities that involve interacting with others, like team sports, meetups or group classes foster social connections which benefit our mental health.
Join us on Thursday 10 October for FREE physical activity and mindfulness to nurture both body and mind. Visit our cafés to relax, chat, or explore free resources for support. Reach out to those around you if you or someone you know is struggling.
