Primetimers Sessions



Health and fitness is becoming an increasingly important part of everyday life for seniors. Under the friendly guidance of our qualified staff, our Primetimers sessions offers a range of activities combining the fun and social aspects of sport with the use of our excellent facilities to help keep you in shape. Activities include: badminton, Easy Line Circuits, exercise classes, short mat bowls, short tennis, swimming and access to our Gym & Spa facilities.

Larkfield Leisure Centre

Thursday morning Sports Hall Activity Sessions - This session is ideal for people of all fitness and sporting abilities. From 10.30am to 12.30pm each Thursday come and try badminton, Easyline, short tennis and table tennis.  Priority Card Adult £3.80 | Casual User: Adult £6.30 & Concession £5.20.  Alternatively take part in a Gym session from 9am - Priority Card Adult £7.00 | Casual User: Adult £8.50 & Concession £7.40.

Primetimers Fitness Classes also take place during the week and offer a mixture of low impact aerobic moves and conditioning exercises to help maintain mobility and posture.  See Group Exercise Timetable now.


Angel Centre

Primetimers Active Movers - Tuesday 10.30am to 11.30am & 11.30am to 12.30pm - a gentle but consistent workout including stretching and floor work. Priority Card: Concession £5.75 & Adult £6.75 | Casual User: Concession £6.75 & Adult £7.90

Primetimers Short Tennis - Wednesday 9.30am to 11.30am - a social event where you get the opportunity to improve your tennis skills or learn new ones. Priority Card: Concession £4.10 & Adult £5.90 | Casual User: Concession £5.60 & Adult £8.10

Gym Sessions - Don't forget the excellent facilities provided in the Gym to make keeping fit a pleasure. On your first visit you will receive a Wellbeing check and assessment from one of our qualified fitness consultants. You will then receive a personal programme and be shown how to use the equipment safely and correctly. Your progress with then be monitored on a regular basis.

Weekly Walking Football Sessions - If you think your footballing days are over then think again. Come and join our pay and play Walking Football sessions - great for keeping fit, learning new skills and for socialising. Ideal for men and women over 55, although everyone is welcome.

There are two sessions on offer: Beginners Session every Tuesday 2.30pm to 4pm and Faster Play Session every Friday from 2.30pm to 4pm. The rules are based on the format provided by Kent FA and will be led by a qualified coach. Wear indoor trainers, shorts/trackie bottoms, t-shirt and bring water. Session Cost £3.90

Tonbridge Swimming Pool

Join our morning Primetimers swimming sessions on Monday and Thursday from 9am to 10am. You could also supplement these sessions with weekday lane swimming, Swim Fit or Aqua Aerobics sessions available throughout the week. Priority Card: Adult £6.75 & Concession £5.75 | Casual User: Adult £8.25 & Concession £6.95
