Swimming Lessons for all

Based on the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, our Swim School Programme is taught by experienced instructors who provide high standards of tuition in water confidence, technique and aquatic skills.

shutterstock 169719554The 45 week programme offers continuous assessment which allows pupils to progress through the various stages at their own pace. With more contact time between pupils and instructors, pupils progress at a steadier rate and can fulfil their potential more quickly.

Progress and skills development are recorded during each lesson ensuring the pupil's ability is continually monitored. When a swimmer meets the criteria of their current class, a place in the next stage will be offered, subject to availability. This progression can take place at any time during the year.

To enable pupils to gain maximum benefit from continuous development, our lessons run for 45 weeks of the year - providing a two week and four/five week break during Christmas and in the Summer Holidays respectively. This excludes Adult & Child classes which run term time only.

Swim School runs from Monday 3 January 2022 (Adult & Child on Tuesday 4 January) until (and including) Tuesday 26 July 2022 - with no break in teaching for Bank holidays or school holidays. Adult & Child lessons run on a termly basis.

COURSES COST: Junior DD from £27.90 per month, Adult DD from £34.80 per month | Adult & Child 15 week lesson block: Priority Card £72.75 Casual User £92.25.

Adult & Child Programme

shutterstock 90607378We believe that the first experiences during a child's early years in the water should be positive, fun and memorable.

Following the Swim England Pre School Framework, our Adult & Child lessons are an introduction to the world of swimming.  Building the foundations of a love of water, lessons aim to build water confidence and to develop and teach the basic core aquatic skills through fun and games.

  • Adult & Child 2 (1-2 years): Working on basic water skills and independent travel with the use of aids introduced through structured play.
