There is no need to book a swimming session, we are operating on a band controlled capacity giving swimmers 90 minutes in the pools. During busy times customers will be required to queue until space becomes available.
Pools for fun & fitness
There's nowhere quite like Larkfield Leisure Centre's Leisure Pool. Waves, water cannons, the Lazy River Rapids, our Slipsteam 60m waterslide and the revolutionary Space Bowl, all make for a great swimming adventure. And if you're more interested in improving your health and fitness levels, our 25 metre Fitness Pool offers the perfect solution.
The Leisure Pool offers waves, water cannons, spa pool, Lazy River Rapids, Slipsteam 60m waterslide and the revolutionary Space Bowl, making for a not-to-be-missed swimming adventure. For youngsters there's a dedicated Teaching Pool, for those who want to gain water confidence and Toddler Pool kitted out with a pirate boat, dolphin squirter, mountain slide, palm tree and giraffe sound! If you're interested in improving your health and fitness, our 25 metre Fitness Pool is ideal. With lane swimming available for most of the day, and a number of water-based exercise sessions, it’s great exercise for improving suppleness, strength and stamina. We now provide SWIMTAG technology so you can see your swim. SWIMTAG records your swims allowing you to monitor progress and set personal challenges. Find out more.
Based on the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, our Swim School Programme is taught by experienced instructors who provide high standards of tuition in water confidence, technique and aquatic skills. Find out more
Splasharound includes everything you need to have a brilliant time in the water - a giant inflatable island, water toys, mats and noodles. The Session runs each Saturday from 6.15pm to 7.15pm. Tickets can be booked in advance, standard swimming charges apply. Spaces are limited to 80 people and entry is restricted to children 8 to 15 years old, those attending must have passed our Competent to Swim Test. Child Admission Policy applies.
We aim to keep the pool temperatures within the following ranges:
- Fitness Pool: 28-30°c
- Teaching Pool: 30-32°c
- Leisure Pool: 29-31°c

A Family Ticket covers: Priority Card - all Priority Card holders and their participating family. Accompanying Casual Users must pay the activity charge.
Casual Users - up to 2 adults & 2 children (or 1 adult and 3 children). Child Admission Policy applies.
Concession charges apply to: Juniors under 16 years old, Seniors = State Pension Age, Students 16 plus in full time education and those registered disabled.
