Pre-School & Early Years Classes

Engaging in performing arts can significantly contribute to your child’s confidence, as well as improving physical health, cognitive development, social skills, and fostering creativity . Our classes cater to children of all abilities, starting from the age of 2 and above. Within a structured class environment, young participants not only learn basic ballet techniques and dance steps but also cultivate essential social skills like empathy, sharing, taking turns, and collaboration.

As children grow, typically around 4 or 5 years old, they can explore our wider range of artistic avenues, allowing them to broaden their horizons and discover their passions.

Exams & Performance Opportunities

Our students have the opportunity to earn valuable Ofqual credits with the examination board the IDTA, starting from Grade 1 and progressing upwards. Upon reaching Intermediate level (a Level 3 qualification), they also accumulate UCAS points, enriching their academic profile. Advanced 1 represents a Level 4 qualification, while Advanced 2 signifies a Level 5 qualification, showcasing the rigor and proficiency attained by our dedicated students.

Moreover, we actively encourage enthusiastic learners to pursue Level 3 or 4 teaching qualifications, fostering their growth as both performers and instructors.

We hold annual shows at The Hazlitt Theatre for ages 7 upwards, and at the Angel Centre for our junior performers. These experiences enrich the students’ development, friendships and confidence, and are something they always look forward to. We provide opportunities for talented students to perform in competitions.
