Barefoot Policy

We operate a Barefoot Policy within our swimming, wet change and Spa facilities in an effort to maintain the high standards of cleanliness.

Customers are asked to remove their footwear before entering the changing area or to put on blue overshoes. This will prevent the dirt on people's shoes from being transferred onto the changing room floor. A Buggy Park is also available for prams and pushchairs - please ask at reception for details.

The introduction of this type of policy is becoming common practice in leisure centres throughout the UK as well as the rest of Europe, as a way of combating cleanliness problems in wet changing areas.
