We are really pleased to welcome you to membership and hope you enjoy your fitness journey. Just to recap, membership includes unlimited use of our state-of-the-art Gym, comprehensive Group Exercise Programme, Pools for fun and fitness, plus Spa facilities to relax in after the hard work is done!

To ensure you get the most out of your journey please read the following information and take action where needed.

First things first, please contact us to book your Personal Assessment, simply let us know your preferred day and time:

Prepare for your Personal Assessment

1. Dress for Success: Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for working out in the gym.

2. Check-in Made Easy: Collect your membership wristband at reception or from a Membership Advisor when you arrive.

3. Download Mywellness: Save time by downloading your free Mywellness app before your assessment. This powerful tool helps you track workouts, monitor progress, and access detailed stats like calories burned, workout duration and heart rate.

Your first TANITA body scan will provide valuable insights and set the foundation for your fitness journey. MyWellness keeps it all at your fingertips!

Book Classes Online with Ease

Secure your classes online
Members can book any of our Group Exercise Classes via the tmactive website or app up to 9 days in advance. To get started create an account and set up your tmactive password. 1) click on ‘Login’ followed by 2) ‘Forgot your Password’. You will then need to 3) enter your email address and then follow the instructions from the triggered email you will receive. Your membership number may be required.

Book via the tmactive App or website
Once you have set up your password, you can book classes online via the website or the tmactive app using your email address and password. If you have not yet downloaded the tmactive app, here are links to the App Store or Google Play.

Cancelling or non-attendance
You can cancel your exercise classes up to 2 hours prior to the class start time via the tmactive app, the website or by contacting our reception team.

To promote accountability and to ensure availability of booking slots, we implement a dishonoured booking fee. This £5 fee is charged for non-attendance or late cancellation.

Please ensure that you check in for your pre-booked class at reception on arrival, you may check in no more than 1 hour before the class start time.

Great Tech to track your Fitness

Members get access to cutting-edge fitness tools including the brilliant Technogym MYWELLNESS AppSWIMTAG to monitor your performance and progress during every Fitness swim session and optional MYZONE. Use them in the pool, gym and studio to help motivate and ‘gamify’ your workout!

You also receive regular TANITA body composition readings to track your progress, a Personal Assessment, Tailored Programme, Ongoing Coaching and Focus on Sessions. Speak to our Wellness Coaches to get access.

Interested in trying an optional MYZONE heart rate monitor? It rewards your effort with real-time data to keep you motivated. Let our Wellness Coach know, and they’ll gladly provide you with a trial belt during your assessment!

As an added bonus Members can also take advantage of Priority Card rates for Pay and Play activities, including golf and squash at Poult Wood Golf Course, plus 7 day advance booking on these activities.

Class Attendance Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and productive group exercise experience for everyone, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Punctuality: Arrive on time and be prepared for the start of the class. This allows you to set up your equipment and prevents disruptions for other attendees.
  • Equipment Setup: Being on time ensures that you have sufficient time to set up your equipment properly, which is essential for a seamless class experience.
  • First-Time Attendees: If you are attending a class for the first time, please arrive at least 5 minutes early. This allows the instructor to assist you with proper setup and orientation.
  • Health Concerns: Inform the instructor of any health issues or concerns before participating in the class to ensure your safety and well-being.
  • Equipment Maintenance: At the end of the class, please clean the equipment you used and return it to its designated place.
  • Late Arrival: Arriving late may result in you being unable to join the class. Additionally, your space may be given to someone on the waiting list who is ready to participate.
