DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY SWIMMING SESSION
Starting Thursday 14 September 2023 - 12 noon to 1pm (term time)

shutterstock 301028090Getting active at our designated Dementia-Friendly swim session can improve physical and mental health and also the quality of life for people in all stages of dementia.

This weekly session aims to enhance the swimming experience of those living with dementia and their carers, by removing barriers, making swimming more accessible and creating a friendly, safe environment.

Swimming in particular has many health benefits, including reduced anxiety, improved mood and enhanced wellbeing.

COST: £3.90, carers swim for free

DEMENTIA FRIENDLY MUSIC MOVEMENT

The session is held every 4th Monday of the month from 2.30-3.30pm @ Spadework- Teston Road, Offham, West Malling, ME19 5NA

200818 032Our new Music Movement session is an exciting, relaxed, movement class, in a safe, social and welcoming environment.

  • Next Date: Monday 25 September 2023
  • Cost: £3, carers free
  • Time: 2.30pm- 3.30pm

The session is an opportunity for people living with Dementia, memory loss, Parkinson's or other neurological conditions, and their carers to do something fun together.
Music Movement aims to give people a sense of community, lots of laughs and friendship.
